New Life Stories presents the third installation of our Close the Gap campaign with Fast and Slow!

Ming Tan’s third book of the series, ‘Fast and Slow’ explores how speed shapes our experience of the world. By introducing animals who move at different speeds - cheetahs who can run up to 100km/h or sloths who are the slowest moving mammals on earth, we learn about how we all perceive time differently. Moving fast or slow both have their advantages!

Through this campaign, we hope to impart the importance of outdoor play in a child’s development and mental-wellbeing. Learning through play is essential for our kids and their families to repair lost relationships and also learn more about each other!

With the donations raised from this campaign, we will be bringing our children out to enjoy the following activities,

  • 3-6 year olds: Aerobics and art jam session at an Odyssey preschool

  • 7-12 year olds: Boxing session with mindfulness practice at a neighbourhood gym

For just $5,000, we can bring our kids out to experience fast and slow play!
